As a little chimp, Harry loved to play swinging from tree to tree. He practiced tricks as he grabbed the different vines. The jungle was a great place, full of tall trees with lots of vines. He could travel far and wide in no time at all. It was like flying.
Sometimes he pretended to be a bird, other times he pretended to be a butterfly. On hot days, swinging from tree to tree was a way to keep cool and have fun at the same time. He hope the trees would always be there since they were so good for shade, nests for birds, fruits that grew on them, and homes for all kinds of animals.
He gave some of his favorite trees each a name and would say “Hi” to them as he swung on their strong vines. Do you have a favorite tree?
